    Conclusion

We have briefly outlined three principles of distributive justice which are applied in social security instruments. Slovakia is a rather more employment performance based social state, meaning that most finances in the social security system are redistributed according to the principle of merit, mainly social insurance, where the benefits are usually calculated as a percentage of the previous income.
